Refund Policy for SquareBow Services
We firmly believe in and stand behind our one-time WordPress speed-fix service. However, if we fail to improve your website’s performance, we are more than happy to provide a complete refund within 7 days of your original purchase, no questions asked.
The primary purpose and the definition of this service are to improve the Core Web Vitals as defined here, and speed test results with tools that are based on the latest version of Google Lighthouse API, such as PageSpeed Insights and/or GTmetrix.
Project Refund eligibility
- We cannot provide refunds due to technical issues unless you allow us to adequately try and assist you before you claim your refund. If we are unable to resolve the issue for you, we will provide a refund. Please contact us before requesting a refund for any technical issues.
- Refunds may only be issued within 7 days of the purchase date and time stamp on the Project Completion email sent to you to request your money back. After 7 days, no refunds will be processed. To submit a refund request, please get in touch.
- Unwillingness or inability to provide the necessary credentials is not grounds for a refund.
- At the time your project begins, your site must be running in live (production) mode on a self-hosted domain. Your site must have installed the latest version of WordPress core; active themes and plugins must be updated to their latest version. Project sites that don’t comply are ineligible for a refund.
- At the time your project begins, your server must run on the latest stable and recommended versions of PHP and MySQL as recommended by WordPress, or the project is ineligible for a refund.
- If we find your site’s hosting to be part of the problem and we recommend a more appropriate host/hosting environment and you do not take our advice, the project is ineligible for a refund.
- If your site is in any way suffering some or another development issue at the time the project commences (e.g. outdated technology, non-functional custom code, rendering issues, incompatibilities, errors and anomalies of any kind, etc), the project is ineligible for a refund.
- If you decline us to implement free Cloudflare CDN services for your website, the project is ineligible for a refund.
- If you cancel your order at any time after we have requested login credentials, but before you receive your Project Completion email, even if we were, through no fault of our own, unable to implement your site’s new performance architecture, your project’s purchase price is not refundable and the sale is final.
- If you cancel your order for any reason after you already placed it and made the payment but before we have requested your login credentials via email, early termination and project cancellation fee of $150 (USD) will be deducted from the refund. The amount equals the price of our non-refundable Deep-audit service and is compensation for the initial audit you received.
- Unreasonable instructions or restrictions to which we must adhere and/or the rejection of a recommendation we make automatically renders the project ineligible, even if we were, through no fault of our own, ultimately unable to implement your site’s new performance architecture.
- Purchases made using a discount code are ineligible for a refund
- Our Deep-Audit service is non-refundable.
- A refund policy for our Stay-on-top maintenance plan is included in the contract with individual clients.
- Refund requests that SquareBow – at its sole discretion – determines to be absurd, capricious, arbitrary, ignorant or a scam-for-free-work will not be honoured and will be ignored altogether.
Finally, we guarantee that now is the best time to buy. If we do offer a lower price within 90 days of your purchase, let us know and we’ll refund you the difference.
